The Archive
Since 2023, two permanently installed high-resolution cameras on the Diavolezza (3,092 m above sea level) have been continuously documenting the state of the glaciers in the Engadin. A new image is created every 30 minutes — day and night, in sunshine and snowstorms.
Today, the archive includes over 30,000 images and continues to grow daily. It's one of the few long-term visual primary documents of alpine glacier change in Switzerland.
