Piz Palü the king of the Engadin

Arguably one of the most famous mountains in the Engadin. It is the crown jewel of the Bernina Range, straddling the border between the canton of Graubünden and the Italian province of Sondrio. To the west, it borders Bellavista, another of the Engadin’s most beautiful mountain formations.
Its three ridges extend all the way to the Pers Glacier, which flows into the Morteratsch Glacier further down.
