Glaciers.Today on Rondo Weather on TV Südostschweiz

With TV Südostschweiz on the Diavolazza

On March 13, 2026, Glaciers.Today appeared on the weather program “Rondo Wetter” on TV Südostschweiz. Under the title “Diavolezza Cameras Show Glacier Retreat,” the program reported on our project and the work of our two high-resolution cameras on the Diavolezza.

In an interview, Jürg Kaufmann explained how the two permanently installed cameras have been capturing stunning high-resolution images of the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers every 30 minutes for nearly three years now—with Piz Palü and Piz Bernina in the background. Over the course of ten years, this has created a unique visual archive of glacial retreat, documenting the transformation of our Alpine landscape in unprecedented image quality.

Thank you to TV Südostschweiz and the Rondo weather team for the invitation.
